Sister Poulson ~ Texas Fort Worth Mission: Icebreakers

Hey guys! Okay I am going to make this one short because P-days are so busy haha!

This week was really good!

Things that happened

- It was the 4th of July which was a party. We first had church and then we had a member make us a pizza on their smoker which was so good! Then we went and watched fireworks on top of a parking garage with most of the zone which was so much fun! I love them all so much.

- We talked to Gerry al ot this week again. Guys he. is. so. cool. He was telling us how he really wants to be together with his family forever. We were like " We can help with that" Ahahha. Then the best thing that happened with him this week was we went to play Spikeball as a finding activity the other day with the ZLs and we invited Gerry to come along. So we were at the park and the ZLs weren’t there yet and he was like "Do you want to go street contacting?” Then he just started walking up to people and asking if they’ve heard about Jesus and then he told them to study with us. It was so funny and I was like dang this guy is so cool. He literally was trying to get people to go to church and he’s not even a member! It was amazing! He also told us that he feels like God has made everything fall in place so that it would make it possible for him to meet us. I think this week we are going to invite him to be baptized, so wish us luck!

- We found a lady named Heather this week and she seems super cool. We are going back to teach her this coming week, so that should be fun!

- We went over to Fanga’s on Friday to grab a form from her parents and they had us come in. We ended up staying for like 2 hours, but it was so much fun and they had us laughing the whole time! Her mom literally just baked us a whole cake while we were there and it was so good.

-This week I have been so grateful for America and the fact that we are free. Because of this beautiful country, us as missionaries are able to testify of our Savior everyday! Isn’t that such a beautiful thing! I know there is a lot of contention in America right now, but if you look at the blessings it’s overwhelming how blessed we are! GOD. IS. GOOD.
