Mate

Hey everyone! Its me again lol! This week has been a ride. Being over three wards had it's crazy moments bit it's also a party! We always find something to laugh about each day! Which is the joy of life! Right??

Highlights of my week:

- We taught Fanga again! She’s the cute nine year old we are teaching! I love her so much!We taught her about the commandments this week and it was so hard to explain them all to a little kid but it was a lot of fun! She sure is a cute girl!

- I had a really cool experience. I was praying Friday Morning in the closet so that I could focus on the spirit extra hard. As I was praying I heard "Tell her I love her" as in tell someone that God loves them. I then immediately thought of a certain park that we needed to go to so that we could tell "her" he loves  her. I thought to myself "It can wait until after studies"  I continued reading through my scriptures when every page I seemed to turn to I saw the word "now". I finally got up and told my comps we needed to go now to that park lol. They agreed and we went to the park. Almost everyone turned us down. Except one lady. She was older and she had a thick accent. As we went up to her we read a scripture with her and told her of God's love for her. She had a presence about her that was so peaceful and I could’ve talked to her forever. She immediately started to cry and tell us about her son who had passed away. That's when her other son came up and he kind of made it obvious that we needed to leave. We left her a pass along card and went on our way. Now idk if that helped her. We didn’t even get her name but I believe I got that prompting for a reason so it must've helped in some way. She may never talk to us again but I know that experience helped both of us grow closer to Heavenly Father and to Jesus Christ.

-We got to teach primary at church on Sunday! It was their first Sunday back in a year and a half. We got to help out! It reminded me of my time in India and Africa. I miss those kids so much but whenever I am reminded of them I feel Gods love so strong. Children are so close to the Savior and I think thats why I love them so much!

- I hit 10 months as a missionary. I am now on double digits which is so weird! Kinda whack! I still feel like a baby and that I have no idea what Im doing!

- My biggest success this week was feeling the spirit strongly. I actually took time to sit and to feel the promptings and the love that God has for me and for each and every one of you! I challenge all of you to take a few minutes this week to just sit still and feel the spirit. Start with a prayer and then just listen!

Well I love you all! Have the best week!

"20"

Hey everyone! Our p-day got moved to today so I am so sorry if I didn’t respond to your emails yesterday.

Things that happened this week:

- It was my Birthday and I turned 20. I cant believe that I am not a teenager anymore. It was a good day and I am grateful that my companions Sister Blanco and Sister Kratz made me feel special. As well as other people in my zone and members in my ward.

- We had another lesson with Fanga. She is so cute and every time we go over there she tells us that we need to make the next lesson harder. She also begs that we come every single day and she calls us "Her missionaries”. It is so stinking cute!

- We had a bomb lesson with this guy named Assa. He is so ready to receive the Gospel. He lives in Utah, but it was so exciting to get to start teaching him. His friend is  a recent convert in our ward and he basically taught the whole lesson. The spirit was super strong.

- For those of you who haven’t heard there was a tragic accident early last week. Two Elders in my mission were in a car accident and were killed. I didn’t know them personally, but I do know several missionaries who were close with them. It has been so sad. My heart hurts so bad for their families. Yesterday we had a memorial for them and one of the elders family attended in person and one via zoom. Please keep these sweet families in your prayers!

I hope you all know that the Plan of Salvation is real. We will see our loved ones again and I know that to be true.

I hope you all have a good week. Love you all.

Busy Week!

 Hey everyone!

Sorry, I have no time today! We got a new companion. Her name is Sister Blanco and so we are now in a trio. The highlight of my week is we started teaching a cute nine year old named Fanga.  I also went to a wedding with Sister Marshall.  The wedding couple goes up to the front and the ceremony almost starts and then they turn around and surprise us all by telling us they couldn’t wait and have actually been married for a week. It was such a shocking moment.  They went ahead and had a ceremony anyway.  Kinda crazy!

Remember that Jesus loves you! Love you all! Have the best week!

"Bruhhh"

 Hello my lovely people!

This week was looonnng! Probably one of the longest weeks of my whole entire mission! But also one of the weeks Ive grown the most lol! So that is a plus!

A few Highlights

- I got my new comp Sister Kratz and she literally is already like one of my best friends! I love the girl so stinkin much! We are constantly laughing and joking around with each other and she will be wild with me so that is a huge plus! The only issue we have had is she has rubbed off on me and now I say bro like every other sentence. She also talks in a really low voice and kind of like a gangster and I have started to too and so we just look like these really white chicks who think they are cool haha!

- We went to dinner at these members house and they have the cutest little girl named Prim Rose! She sang in Tongan for us before we left and the spirit was so strong. The spirit that you can feel through music is so strong and I just love it so much! Children are so close to Jesus Christ and I think thats why I have always loved them so much!

-I hit my 9 months this week so I am officially half way! Some of the sisters heart attacked my door that day which I thought was super sweet! Yee

- We also got to teach an eight year old in our ward because this week was her baptism! Her name is Leilani. When we went over she was super shy and didn't say much. However, when we showed up to the baptism after we went up to congratulate her and she goes " I didn't think you would come!" she was so happy we were there and it was so cute!

- We had a lesson set up with Agula this week unfortunately she canceled but we are going to try to get another lesson with her because we think she has a lot of potential. We also have a few referrals that we are hoping to get into contact with soon. One is a family that is really tight with a member in our ward! They have started to read the Book of Mormon and they are hoping to feed us sometime this month so hopefully we will be able to talk to them soon! We also are going to start teaching a nine year old because they didn't get baptized at eight they technically have to take the lessons now which should be fun and really good practice!

- Another good thing about Sister Kratz is she loves to stay busy just as much as me! We have been all over the place and every night we go to sleep so so tired so thats been really good. We haven't been able to do too much contacting yet because all the sisters in our zone right now are struggling so we had to do emergency exchanges and just different stuff like that but we are planning to work super hard this week!

- One of Sister Kratz and Is goals this transfer is to be bold. to fear God more than we fear man. We plan to do this with our missionary work but I think that can go for all of you too! In your member missionary work as well as in life. Basically what is means to fear God more than Man is that we care more about what God thinks of us than other people because thats really what matters. So next time you are trying to make a choice just think about what God would want you to do!

-Spiritual Thought: This week we had a zone kick off meeting and my good friend Elder Fotu gave a training. During the training he had us close our eyes and he told us to picture some one we love. Next he told us to think of why we love that person so much and what they do for us. Last he told us to think of if that person died for us what we would say to them. He then had us open our eyes and he testified of our Saviors love for us. Our savior is like that person we were picturing but ten million times more perfect and he died for YOU! INDIVIDUALLY! He loves each of you and I truly know that to be true! I have been reading the Book of Mormon more fervently this week and as I have I have felt the saviors love for me and for all the people in my life through the Holy Ghost! I promise you that if you read the Book of Mormon with questions in your heart, they WILL be answered!

Ps. Shout out to my beloved daughter(meaning the Sister I trained) Sister Chomjak! It was her birthday and she happened to be in our zone for a pick up at the mission office so I got to see her!

Well thats all I have for this week! Love you all very much!
