Round two baby

Hey y'all! This week was good!

Things that happened:

Monday: So, President Chapman called on Monday and told me I am training next transfer ðŸ˜²  So, I guess I'm having another baby! I'm excited, but also kind of surprised. The reason he told me so early is because Wednesday we had a trainers day camp. I am a little stressed because he didn't tell me where I'm going. He's all "you might whitewash or go to another STL area... I'm not really sure”.  It’s like President likes to make my anxiety sky rocket so high lol! It'll work out though!

Tuesday: We had dinner with the Piatau’s which was fun as always! I love them! Other than that we just had meetings and stuff!

Wednesday: We had the trainers boot camp. I went on exchanges because only the trainers for next transfer were invited! It was actually really fun! I got to see lots of friends and it was my one year in Texas and I actually saw Sister Guest! It had been one year since we flew out together! That night we went to teach Romina another lesson. Wahoo!

Thursday: We went and painted this ladies t-shirt shop! It was actually a lot of fun! Other than that we just did other missionary things!

Friday: We had a lesson with Jerry! We planned out his baptism and he asked me to be a witness at his baptism! So that is happy! He is going out of town so we have to move it to September 4th, but if I get transferred I'll come back. That evening we taught Romina and Suliasi again! They are so so cute! Their other kids were there because it was their weekend to have them and we just had a really good time!

Saturday: That morning we went to Romina’s and we actually taught the last two lessons! The plan is for her to be baptized next week! So, that is super happy! Then we did a car wash all day and that evening we went and played Jerry in pickleball!

Sunday: We went to church! We had 5 people come to church with us, so that was super super happy! We had Jerry, Romina, Siua , and Siua’s brothers!

Spiritual Thought: 1 John 4:19 "We love him, because he first loved us."

Remember to love others!

Heck no am I gonna eat last!

Hey everyone! These last couple weeks have been SO GOOD!

So Updates:

- Jerry might be moving his date of baptism up to the 28th of August! So that is super happy! We will see what happens. He just keeps telling us how much happier his life is with God in it and I love it so much. He literally is so cool and I love feeling the spirit as we testify to him! We finished all the lessons with him so really all the rest is up to him and I know that he is so ready! So that is super exciting!

- We met this lady named Romina! I knew about Romina for a couple of months and that she wanted to come to church. She came a couple of times, but we hadn’t started teaching her because the member who told me about her wanted to build a relationship with her first. Well, this last week we finally got her number and we just decided to text her right away about meeting.  She then texted back and invited us to come to dinner THAT NIGHT! So, we dropped everything and went over to her house.  Her husband Suliasi was there, who evidently is already a member, but he doesn’t remember much about church. Their cute 6 year old daughter Leo was also there! They fed us bomb ribs and then we had the best discussion. Then boom! Romina tells us she wants to be baptized, and Suliasi wants to baptize her. This whole thing was so spiritual! From the time we walked into their home until the moment we stepped out I felt the love of Christ and the spirit SO STRONG. Long story short, Romina is now also on date for the 28th, so that is going to be a good day! Plus, it’s the Saturday before transfers, so I will definitely be here. We went over again yesterday and taught the restoration! She hasn’t even read the Book of Mormon yet, but her testimony is SO STRONG! Man I love them, and once again they made us BOMB FOOD! My stomach is growing in this ward after being here for almost 6 months, but what ya gonna do about it haha!

- We had some of our favorite members take us to a rodeo this week! We got special permission to go, and it was so much fun! The Piatau’s are the family who took us, and I have gotten so close with them! Sister Piatau just kept telling me how Tongan I’ve become, because I was going crazy at the rodeo! So much fun! Honestly, I probably should have toned it down since I’m on a mission, but none of us are perfect. right? It was a party and they even bought us cute cowboy hats! I’m gonna miss this ward when I leave aggg!

-We went on 2 exchanges this week! One with the MSTLS and I got to go with SISTER RENTERIA! I love her so much and we are so wild together! She goes home in 3 weeks which hurts my heart, but she will do amazing things in life! So, she’s been out for 18 months and has never ridden bikes. So, I got to take her for the first time and she was on cloud 9! It was so much fun haha! The next day we had exchanges with a trio of sisters in our zone! I got lucky enough to go with 2 of them! Sister Larsen and Grover! They are so funny and we had a wild time! It was so fun.

- Okay last thing I wanted to tell y’all about! A member made me the CUTEST QUILT! She isn’t even in my ward, but she was in Sister Berg’s last area and she made her one. Then when we went over she told me she liked me and was going to make me one. I told her she didn’t have to, but she did! It is literally the best thing ever! She said that if I ever lose my way that I have to remember when I see this quilt to come back! Jesus Christ really is the only way.

- Jesus Christ really is my everything Y'all! There is no way I would still be out here if this gospel wasn’t true! Its so hard, but it’s so worth it and I hope you all know that Jesus Christ loves you! Make him your everything! You wont regret it.

I love y'all so so much!

Dreams do come true!

Hey everyone! So it’s been a couple of weeks. Sorry about that! P-days get so busy and I forget to write! This week I am writing it on Sunday night before bed so that I wont forget!

Biggest updates since the last time I wrote:

- We had transfers. Sister Kratz left me and I cried so hard! Ive never cried so hard at transfers before so that was so freaking embarrassing, but I’ll get over it! My new comp is Sister Berg. I talked a little bit about her in my last email. She is super cool and we have been having fun together. We laugh so hard at everything. I think some people probably think we are crazy but its a fun time! The only thing about Berg is the fact that she is always cold. More than me! Literally it will be so hot in our apartment and she will turn off the cold air and get under the blankets. Then I will be roasting! Haha she gets these emails so she is probably reading this right now!

- Jerry is on date for baptism! Sis Kratz and I put him on date the last day that she was here! September 4th is the day, so that is super exciting. He tried to push it back this week and then Berg and I called him and basically we were just so blunt. We told him we think that he could be ready in the next 2 weeks. I mean of course we told him its between him and the Lord, but we think that he will be able to get baptized in the next couple weeks here! Hopefully before I get transferred. If you are willing please pray for him!

- We found some bikes in the storage in our apartment and we have decided to be biking sisters! Saturday we biked everywhere and it was so hot we were so sweaty but it was so much fun! Like we could just stop randomly on the way home and knock some doors! Its been Sister Berg and I's dream to be biking sisters! Its finally coming true!!

- I hit my one year this past week! I cant believe its been that long but then at the same time I feel like I have been a missionary for forever! Time is such a crazy thing. So in my journal since its my 12 months I wrote 12 lessons that I have learned so far and I wanted to share them with you guys..

1. Jesus Christ lives

2. Prayer is important

3. The Book of Mormon emulates light

4. Missions are so hard

5. Everything someone does makes sense in their head

6. Everyone doesn’t always think like you, but always be nice

7. Complaining makes it worse

8. Communication is HUGE in every relationship

9. The more chill you are the better you can get along with others

10. Comparison is the devils best tool

11. Satan is good at what he does but with Christ you are always better

12. Everyone has their things but they are worth your love no matter what plus God will   ALWAYS love them.

Sorry that was kind of a lot! Those are just a few things I've learned and I cant wait to learn more over these next 6 months.

-Last thing. We go out to dinner with this family in our ward every week named the Piatau’s. This past week they told me that they think I have been in this ward too long. Sister Piatau goes " You know you have been here to long when you start to become a Tongan" It was so funny. She says that I have become more blunt and I just laugh at everything even when someone gets hurt. I was dying! I really am going to miss this place when I leave. I guess I might be getting too comfortable though haha. Considering the fact that Im sarcastic back to all the members ( in a good way). We are literally always roasting each other haha.

Anyways, that’s all I have for you guys this week. Remember that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love you! They are ALWAYS cheering you on and so am I. So, if you ever need anything just message or email me!

Love Y'all
